Sentinel appointed December 2013 to undertake initial retrospective pre-assessment for LEED CI 2009, on proposed Stage C Design for American Express’ proposed 100,000sq.ft fit out The Da Vinci Building in Rome. This was required to provide a gap analysis against the client aspiration to achieve a Gold rating for this new HQ project and what the existing design solution provided. Sentinel’s analysis was then used to inform / modify the proposed design solution ensuring that once pre-requisite criteria were included (for LEED CI) subsequent additional credits could be targeted and prioritised on the basis of risk to budget and criteria that could be reasonably achieved in a region unfamiliar with the requirements in delivery of LEED CI projects.

As a result Sentinel was appointed to see full LEED CI assessment and consultancy through to project completion and certification.
